Mandiri Bintan Marathon 2024

Bintan Resorts is excited to announce the 3rd edition of the Mandiri Bintan Marathon, happening on November 2nd and 3rd, 2024. This event, organized jointly in collaboration between Bintan Resorts and Orange Room, aims to accommodate up to 5000 runners and supporters, doubling the participation from 2019. The marathon weekend will start on Saturday, November 2nd, with a 3km Family Kids Run and a 5km Fun Run, perfect for family bonding. The main races, including the 10km, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon, will take place on Sunday, November 3rd.

This year’s marathon theme is “Run And Discover”, highlighting the beauty of nature, community warmth, family gatherings, and local spirit. The event celebrates both the journey and the destination, encouraging participants to enjoy Bintan Island’s scenic views, cultural richness, and unique atmosphere. Inspired by the endangered Hawksbill Turtle, the marathon also aims to raise awareness about the importance of conserving and protecting the environment to sustain the ecosystem.
